Flan

- 1 cup of white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 can of La Lechera sweetened condensed milk
- 1 can of Carnation evaporated milk
- 1 tbsp of vanilla extract
Cooking materials
- Aluminum foil
- Round container for flan
- Large Flat Plate
- Medium Sauce Pan
- Glass Baking Dish
- Mixing Bowl
Instructions
In your sauce pan start melting 1 cup of sugar at medium low-heat. Slowly mix your sugar until it has golden color. Do not leave sugar unattended because it can burn easily. In your baking dish apply the melted sugar evenly. In your mixing bowl add wet ingredients; eggs, condensed milk, evaporated milk and vanilla extract. After mixture is well-combined, pour in egg mixture into baking dish with sugar. Then cover with aluminum foil. Preheat oven to 350 °F and when it’s ready put in baking dish for an hour. When flan is ready take out of oven and let sit until completely cool. Invert baking dish into the large flat plate, making the dark sugar on top and the egg mixture in the bottom.
